FAQ

Where do I download the AirWatch SDK?

You will need to request access from your AirWatch account representative and download it from resources.air-watch.com once you have access.

Is it possible to mix and match AppConfig.org, SDK, and app wrapping on a single app?

You can combine AppConfig.org Community concepts with SDK & wrapping, but you cannot wrap an app which has already integrated the AirWatch SDK.

What’s the difference between the per-app-VPN (mentioned by AppConfig.org) and the SDK tunneling?

Per-app-VPN uses a VPN and is provided natively by the platform whereas SDK tunneling uses a HTTP proxy and uses proprietary logic embedded within the SDK library.

Do I need to include all the libraries in the iOS SDK zip file if I will only be using one feature?

Yes, currently there is not a way to partition the SDK based on what you would like to use. This will be included in a future version of the iOS SDK.

Do I need to include all the libraries in the Android SDK zip file if I will only be using one feature?

If you only require use of the Client SDK, then you simply need to include the gson and the AWClientSDK jar files. If you will be using the AWFramework, then all the library dependencies that come with the Android SDK zip must be included in your project (in addition to the AWFramework aar file).
